Energy efficiency, not just in running costs but also when manufacturing.

Everyone wants to be greener. Not only does it save money, but it’s what customers expect – and sometimes demand – from their suppliers.

From as far back as the 1990s, Sharp has been making substantial investments in minimising our environmental impact. From the design of products right through to end-of-life product disposal, every aspect of our manufacturing processes has been scrutinized and improved.

So by teaming up with Sharp, not only will you get access to some of the greenest technology in the world, you’ll have access to the latest ideas and processes that will help you achieve your environmental objectives.

Energy Star is a label for energy efficient products with worldwide recognition.  The Energy Star program was created in 1992 by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and was introduced in 2002 to the European Union as a voluntary label for computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, scanners, copiers and multifunctional machines. In 2007 new  Energy Star specifications for office & imaging products were put in place, which ensure that the Energy Star represents only the market's most energy efficient productions.

The Energy Star-certified MX-3640N uses Sharp's latest energy-saving technology. A rapid warm up time, an efficient LED scanner, self-adjusting and pre-set auto shut down capabilities and a special Eco Recommendation function and Eco Scan Mode that all aim to save money and support your environmental objectives.

The machines can even be set by default to automatically double side saving on paper.
